Welcome to Woman to Womban -
I'm Taryn - Holistic functional nutritionist, postpartum advocate, and unofficial spokesperson for every mom who’s ever been told, “Welcome to Motherhood.”
I work with women who are exhausted, undernourished, overwhelmed, and ready for more — more energy, more clarity, more support, more honesty.
Because here’s the truth no one tells you:
You don’t need to bounce back.
You need to re-root.
I’m a military wife, a homeschool mom of 4 under 6, a woman who has lived through the trenches of postpartum more than once, and a practitioner who refused to keep accepting “normal labs” and “welcome to motherhood” as answers.
I’ve been:
The woman sitting in the OB's office being told her labs are normal and they don't know why she keeps miscarrying
The mom that spent the entire 9 months of pregnancy bent over the toilet
The mom that sat in the pediatricians office being offered formula, feeling defeated that her baby wasn't gaining enough weight
The mom crying on the bathroom floor wondering if things would ever get easier
The mom who lost handfuls of hair every shower
The mom whose postpartum anxiety kept her up all night and postpartum depression made it hard to get out of bed
The mom who felt invisible inside her own body
The mom who was doing everything right and still felt like garbage
So yeah - this isn't just business for me.
It's personal.
I started Woman to Womban to offer the kind of support I wish I'd had.
Most postpartum care goes like this:
“Your baby’s gaining weight? You’re cleared for sex? Good luck out there.”
Yeah... That doesn't work for me. It shouldn't work for you either.
Postpartum is a full-body reconstruction - hormones, minerals, metabolism, digestion, identity, nervous system.
All of it.
So I build care around what women actually need:
✔ Functional lab testing that shows what’s really going on
✔ Whole-food nourishment because postpartum bodies need protein, minerals, fats, and carbs to rebuild
✔ Movement that supports healing instead of punishing your body
✔ Nervous system & emotional support because your brain and body are partners, not roommates
✔ Honest, nurturing guidance without gaslighting, guilt, or restriction
Let me be clear here -
I’m not anti-medicine.
I’m anti-gaslighting.
There’s a difference.
The system is failing mothers.
Motherhood doesn't erase your needs.
Postpartum isn't just a "phase" to get through.
Your symptoms aren't inconveniences - they're information.
You deserve to feel well.
You deserve to be nourished.
You deserve to feel rooted, connected, supported.
That is what Redefining Postpartum is all about.
